CAWDA Rider Scholarship Program
Each year, CAWDA awards three scholarships—one in each rider category:

Junior/Youth

Trainer/Professional
Each scholarship provides up to $200 to support Western Dressage education, including:
This program is designed to help riders at all levels continue developing their skills and deepen their involvement in the discipline.
Eligibility
To apply, you must:

Be a current CAWDA member

Fall into one of the three rider categories (amateur, junior/youth, or trainer/professional)

Use the scholarship funds specifically for Western Dressage training or clinics

Application Window
Applications are accepted April 1 through April 30 each year.
This is a firm annual window, so riders typically prepare their materials ahead of time.
How to Apply

Review the complete rules in the CAWDA Rulebook

Fill out the Rider Scholarship application (the form is provided on the CAWDA website)

Submit the application during the April 1–30 window
