CAWDA 2026 Live High Point Competition
The CAWDA High Point program recognizes outstanding Rider/Horse combinations across:
The program is open to all CAWDA members in good standing.
How the Live High Point Program Works
1. Ride at CAWDA‑recognized Western Dressage shows
This includes live shows recognized by CAWDA.
2. Save your written tests
You must keep the judge’s test sheet from each ride.
3. Submit your test face sheets
Each face sheet must clearly show:
-
Percentage score
-
Date of the ride
-
Location of the show
-
Judge’s signature
Deadline: CAWDA must receive each test within 30 days of the show.
How Points Are Calculated
Your percentage score = your point score Example:
You may submit as many tests as you want, but:
-
You must submit at least five tests
-
Tests must come from three or more different CAWDA‑recognized shows
-
Your top five scores are used for your total
Standings are updated periodically and posted on the CAWDA Standings page.
How Winners Are Determined
At the end of the competition year, the Rider/Horse combination with the highest total of their top five scores wins the High Point award for their division and level.
For full rules, see the CAWDA Rulebook.
